Timeless Home Elegance
The beauty of Irish wood is the star of any kitchen. With a range of sizes and design options, we’ve got a board for you, whether it’s for chopping vegetables, meat, bread, cheese, or serving up a beautiful holiday platter.
The Enchanted Forest
Since the 1670s, the Bunbury family has made our home at Lisnavagh Estate. When our beautiful trees reach the end of their natural life cycle, we lovingly transform them so that you can take home a piece of the forest. Every tree tells a story!
Local and Sustainable
All our timber is 100% sustainable and locally-sourced, the majority from trees falling naturally on our land. We trace, catalogue, and stamp every piece of wood and provide a custom Tree Report so you know exactly where your wood comes from.
At our workshop on the grounds of Lisnavagh, our timber is aged up to two years before we lovingly shape it into Bunbury Boards. We also offer bespoke products such as custom-branded kitchen products, tabletops, cabinetry, and furniture.
The most beautiful chopping board you will ever own.

Bunbury Boards... are truly things of beauty.
Ideal for lovers of ecology and nature...and bread.
Delighted with how they looked on camera!
My family has been stewards of the farm and woodlands at Lisnavagh since the 1670s. When I assumed responsibility for this storied property twenty years ago, I was amazed at the sheer volume of trees on our land that fell naturally or came down in storms.
I knew in my bones that this beautiful timber, some of it upwards of 150 years old, should not go to waste. Bunbury Boards are the result! We put the same love and care into each board that we put into taking care of this beautiful land, so that future generations can continue to enjoy it.
