We’re bound for the Kilkenny Shop again

Thousands of people will see our master wood turner and creator of our Bunbury Bowls, Willie McHutcheon, at work on Saturday October 10 – as he’ll be giving a wood-turning demonstration in the window of the prestigious Kilkenny Shop on Nassau Street in Dublin all this long.

Willie proved a big hit there when he previously showed his skills at a demonstration on the 4th of July last. He has now been invited back to do the same again, but this time in an even more prominent spot, where the huge crowds who pass by each day simply won’t be able to miss him!

We’ll have other members of our team there with Willie as he produces Bunbury Bowls and other items from some of the age-old hardwood timber from our Lisnavagh Estate and other sources, all of which is fully traceable back to its origins. We’ll give talks on and answer questions about the history of the estate and the Lisnavagh Timber Project, as well as our traceability methods and all the Bunbury Bowls, Bunbury Boards, and other beautiful items we produce at Lisnavagh.

Opening hours of the Kilkenny Shop on the day will be from 8.30 a.m. to 7 p.m., so please do stop in and talk to us if you’re in the area that day. We’ll look forward to meeting you.
