Irish Times – Businesses battle for TV

Twenty small businesses from all over Ireland have been shortlisted for the “Your Business on Irish TV” competition.

The businesses, which were nominated by city and county enterprise boards, include Karora Cosmetics, the Irish Handmade Glass Company, the flight simulator company Simtech Aviation, Bunbury Boards, Shalford Furniture, Lough Derg Chocolates and Crossogue Preserves.

The 20 shortlisted companies will now battle it out for six top prizes: a monthly platform to promote and sell their products and services directly to viewers of the Shopping from Home series on RTÉ One.

As part of the €10,000 prize package, the winning companies will also receive marketing and PR support during the month.
